We Need Volunteers!
With our stream restoration project nearing completion, we’re thrilled to take the next big step—planting the riparian buffer—and we need your help to bring it to life!
A healthy riparian buffer is essential for stabilizing the stream banks, improving water quality, and creating a thriving habitat for wildlife. This next phase of the project is not just about planting trees and native vegetation—it’s about restoring balance to the land and ensuring a sustainable future for the ecosystem.
We’re calling on our community to join us for two dedicated planting days:
Friday April 25th & Saturday April 26th
We are hoping for two shifts each day, Morning and Afternoon. Those who wish to stay all day, we would love to have you-and will be breaking for l
Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Or stay for the full day if you’re available—we would be glad to have you.
We are aiming for 20–25 volunteers per shift, each day. Please note that lunch and snacks are each volunteers responsibility, so we recommend bringing a packed lunch to enjoy by the stream or visiting one of the nearby restaurants during the break.
On-street parking is suggested for ease of access to the planting area.
This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a project that will benefit the land and community for generations to come. We are grateful for your time and support, and we look forward to planting alongside you.
