Kristen has been walking alongside Diane and the vision of White Feather Farm for nearly two decades. Serving as a bridge between the farm’s deeper language and the wider world through visual communications and marketing, she shares the life of the land and its teachings with the broader community through photography, video and design. It was the farm’s slower, more intentional and reverential pace that echoed natures rhythms that really called to Kristen, who had spent the last two decades working in high-intensity commercial photography and agency work. The farm became a respite from the busyness of her work life, and eventually she started spending more and more time at the farm, volunteering and building various programs, classes and curriculum. As director of the farm’s Youth Education programs, she creates opportunities for children and young adults to learn in relationship with animals, the land, and one another. Kristen is also beginning to develop feline therapies at the farm, working within both behavioral and intuitive modalities to support healing, health, and balance in feline well-being. With a deep interest in integrative spiritual, psychological, and philosophical traditions, she approaches her work with curiosity and reflection, exploring how ancient and modern perspectives can coexist in right relationship with the natural world. Kristen brings both creativity and clarity to the farm, weaving together organization, vision, and care.
